Looking for your new dream home?  Can you afford it?  Can you qualify for a Home Loan? We’re going to learn about that and more...right now! I have been helping buyers find their Dream Homes for the past 4 decades.

Searching for a new home can be exciting and frustrating at the same time. However, first and foremost, you need to meet with your lender and obtain a Loan Pre-Approval.  A loan pre-approval informs the seller that you are pre-approved to purchase their home. Currently, in our local San Diego market, there is very little inventory of homes available.

This has created an extremely competitive real estate market where we are seeing multiple offers on most homes.  In fact, we are experiencing “Bidding Wars” on specific properties due to such strong buyer demand.  It is imperative that you have a loan pre-approval just to be considered when making an offer. Currently, we are experiencing lower interest rates, primarily because this is an election year.  In today’s market that equates to an additional $50,000 in purchasing power from a year ago.  You can buy a lot more house than you could have at this time last year.

I can recommend a number of great lenders to assist you in getting a Loan Pre-Approval so together we can go out and find that special Dream Home. Don’t forget to click on the link below to request a copy of our very popular Buyers guide that will provide a step-by-step guide through the buying process. If you are beginning your home search, please reach out to my team and I so we can help strategize your next move.
