While the housing market continues to shift with rising mortgage rates, increased inventory, and as we move into the second half of 2022, is it still a good time to buy or sell? With the state of the housing market quickly changing, I can see how confusing it can be if you are a seller or buyer trying to decide if now is the right time to buy or sell.

Let’s take a look at what’s happening in San Diego. There are 1548 active listings, 842 homes pending, and 844 homes that were sold in the last 30 days. Homes sold for an average of $1,065,752 and were on the market an average 32 days. So, you can see, with the changing market, it is no surprise to us that homes are staying on the market longer.

With the constant shifts, you need an experienced agent to help guide you navigate through your next moves in real estate.

Whether you want to sell your existing home, buy your first home, upsize, downsize, purchase a vacation home, or just talk about options, a real estate professional is your best source for information based on current trends in our area. If you're interested in learning more about the 2022 real estate forecast, don't hesitate to reach out - we're happy to help!
